About ICU
ICU was founded in 2026 by two people who met over the same leak.
One of them had the problem. His scenes were on the tube sites within hours of release. He paid the takedown services, priced the enterprise watermarking vendors, tried what the market offered to a studio of his size, and found nothing that told him which account the copies came from. The other had built the answer: a video engineer who designed per-viewer marking for a subscription video platform at a cost that made marking every title possible, instead of one title a year. ICU is that system, shaped by the person who needed it and built by the one who could.
Attribution should cost less than a leak.
If marking every title costs more than the piracy it addresses, nobody marks anything.
Honesty sells in this industry.
Every vendor claims "unbreakable". We say what the mark is designed to survive and what defeats it, including the one attack that defeats every per-viewer watermark.
The studio keeps its data.
We never need to know who a member is.
The first customers are adult studios and paysites, because they have the problem most acutely and the least access to the tools. The same system serves any membership video business: fitness, education, screeners, faith, niche sport.
